Biography

Dr. Cristina Trilla is responsible for the Prenatal Screening Unit and the coordinator of the Functional Unit on Early Pregnancy Loss in Hospital de la Sant Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona. In 2022 she completed her PhD with a research project to assess the role of placental ultrasound in the first trimester to predict the risk of obstetric complications. Her work received a Cum Laude mention and the Extraordinary Award from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is an active researcher, involved in several multicenter studies and has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals.
