Biography

Dr. Azjargal Batdorj is a PhD candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. She is a fetal medicine specialist with clinical and research expertise in prenatal screening, chromosomal abnormalities, and maternal-fetal health. Her doctoral research focuses on improving the accuracy and cost-effectiveness of Down syndrome screening by integrating novel biomarkers and advanced ultrasound markers in Mongolian populations. Dr. Batdorj has presented at several international conferences and received competitive scholarships, including the Salzburg Open Medical Institute fellowship. She is dedicated to advancing women’s health and strengthening global collaborations in maternal-fetal medicine.
