Biography

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1997, she specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2001 and earned a PhD in “Surgery and Fetal Medicine” in 2003. Since 2021, she has led the Regional Reference Center of Lombardy for diagnosing and treating vulvar lichen sclerosus. From 2023, she serves on the Scientific Committee of the Italian Society of Colposcopy and Cervico-Vaginal Pathology (SICPCV). In 2024, she co-authored Lichen Sclerosus: ISSVD Practical Guide to Diagnosis and Management. She lectures in ECM-accredited courses and is Principal Investigator in clinical trials. She also reviews for key gynecology journals.
